We grew up without seeing ourselves.No bodies like ours. No skin tones, no rhythms, no real ways of existing in the world.

The role models we had taught us how to fit in — not how to be.And that’s why today we’re still rebuilding. Still looking for real voices that say what was never said when we were girls.

Our generation carries a powerful mission: to unlearn what we were taught.To break patterns that told us how we had to look, act or feel in order to be loved, respected, successful.

Yes, we need role models.But the beauty is — many of us are starting to become them.Even if it’s just for one woman who reads or listens to us… it’s worth it.
